Who is Norfolk Handmade?
Norfolk Handmade is me, Justin Starr. I started this company in 2019. In 2016, I had the opportunity to work with Tom Fidgen and help him open the Brick & Mortar version of the website he had build over many years. Everything I learned about woodworking was from Tom and the years spent at the school will never be forgotten, it changed my life.

I started this brand out of a desire to create. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and knew one day I would make it my job. There's nothing for satisfying than taking raw materials and forming them into a beautiful functional objects.

I originally started as Justin Starr Studio making canvas bags and tool rolls for woodworkers. In 2020, my plans had to change along with the rest of the world, so I decided to focus on leather instead of canvas. I taught myself everything I needed to know in order to produce a product that meet my standards. I took a few years but I eventually got there.

Today I am focusing on higher end products, shell cordovan leathers, handbags for women and men. I am also working with retail stores and corporate clients to bring specific products and experiences to reality for their customers.

Norfolk Handmade is a luxury leather goods brand based in Toronto, Canada. I specializing in handmade leather wallets, leather hand bags and other small leather goods. I also provide products to the retail, hospitality and corporate as well as other professional leather services. I exclusively select the finest vegetable-tanned leathers from prestigious Italian and North American tanneries. Each product is handmade in my studio, reflecting my unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and uncompromising attention to detail.
