LEATHER MAINTENANCE
Leather is naturally very durable, it requires very little maintenance since the simple act of touching and holding leather will impart the oils from your hands into the leather. However, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so it can be a good idea to be proactive in maintaining your leather goods. We recommend a high quality natural leather balm for all out vegetable tanned leather goods. Smith's Leather Balm only uses 3 ingredients: Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax & 100% Pure Sweet Almond Oil.

Conditioning the leather moisturizes and replenishes the oils, preventing dryness and cracking while maintaining its temper and extending its lifespan. Conditioning also enhances the leather's durability, helps smooth out blemishes, and can protect against spills and stains. Regular conditioning also supports the natural aging process, promoting the development of a rich, unique patina that adds character and distinction to the leather over time.
Smith's Leather Balm
A little goes a long way with Smith's. All you have to do is rub a very small amount of balm into the leather to keep it hydrated. If the leather still appears dry after application, or the balm has not absorbed evenly, apply a little bit more.
